Django Unchained: More Pics of Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx

May 29, 2012 By Mike B

Django Unchained will have a Christmas 2012 release, and we’re slowly getting some pictures in from the set of the new Quentin Tarantino joint. The pictures look promising, and this may be another film that Will Smith will regret passing up, probably more so than the Matrix.

The pics show more of Leonardo DiCaprio as Calvin Candie, the brutal Mississippi plantation owner, and Jamie Foxx as Django, the slave-turned-bounty-hunter, along with his mentor played by Christoph Waltz. That jacket Foxx is sporting may be the color of baby doo doo, but he sure does wear it well, along with his Michael Jackson one-glove touch. In the solo picture of Django, it seems as though he can take on the world with his six-shooter alone–the awkward part about it is that it looks like his right hand is white. Hey, it could be that Django didn’t have a right hand, so he cut some slaveowner’s hand off and sewed it on.

DiCaprio is looking pretty sinister and sharp, a dangerous combination and Waltz is pimped out in a fur coat. This has got to be one of the most anticipated films of 2012. No sign of a trailer yet, but these pics will have to do to hold over film geeks across the nation.
