The Dark Knight Rises Director’s Cut?

The Dark Knight Rises Director's Cut

The Dark Knight Rises Director's Cut

So there are rumors going around that The Dark Knight Rises will have a Director’s Cut adding about 30 more minutes of the man in the black cape and company. This is all speculative, but the fan in me is rooting real hard for this one, just like I did in the scenes where Bruce Wayne is trying to make the jump (Kobe could’ve done that easy by the way).

The Dark Knight Rises Director’s Cut might not be a lie like the many others. Costume designer Lindy Hemming told GQ that there was a sequence of Bane’s origin that didn’t make the final cut, as well as more scenes with Ra’s Al Ghul that were left out as well. Then again, Christopher Nolan isn’t really known for doing Director’s Cuts, so this might in fact just be another sick, horrible rumor.

If there is an actual Director’s Cut for the Dark Knight Rises, maybe it will show how Bruce Wayne made it back to Gotham City so quickly after his triumphant climb. Or maybe there’s a scene showing Batman artistically dousing that bridge to form his Batman symbol. Perhaps more Catwoman? That’d be nice. I remember the rumors for The Dark Knight having a Director’s Cut, but that didn’t come true (so far); however, I still have hope for that one coming out, just like I’ll hope for this one. Whatever it may be, if the rumor is true, I’ll watch it.
