Toy Story of Terror for Halloween 2013

October 08, 2012 By Mike B

Pixar is stirring up something beyond awesome for Toy Story fans. They will be putting Woody, Buzz Light year and the gang on television for a Halloween special called Toy Story of Terror. Toy Story 3 was released back in 2010, leaving many in tears of joy, and now Pixar’s bringing the gang back for more fun.

Here is the official synopsis:

What starts out as a fun road trip for the “Toy Story” gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this “Toy Story of Terror.”

There isn’t an official confirmation on Tom Hanks and Tim Allen reprising their roles as Woody and Buzz Lightyear, but there’s a good possibility that they will. The actors reprised their roles outside of the Toy Story trilogy for a series called “Toy Story Toons.” The most recent, “Partysaurus Rex,” premiered before screenings of Finding Nemo 3D.
