2014 Oscar Predictions

March 01, 2014 By Mike B

The 2014 Oscar nominations have been marinating for a bit now, but Oscar night is right around the corner. Once again, a few films that should’ve gotten some love are missing, but no real big surprise there. 12 Years a Slave, American Hustle, and Gravity all came up big. Inside Llewyn Davis missed out on best original song, Robert Redford got snubbed for All is Lost, and Saving Mr. Banks got a complete shut out in the major categories. In the end, the Oscars don’t always get it right, and a movie isn’t defined by a gold statute; however, it is amusing to see who gets what.
