Darren Aronofsky’s Anti-Meth Ads

November 18, 2011 By Mike B

Darren Aronofsky, director of Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream, directed several PSA commercials for meth. I was wondering when he’d do some kind of anti-drug commercial, since Requiem for a Dream is the ultimate film to watch to keep most people off of hard drugs.

These Anti-Meth Ads are pretty well done, especially for those who are thinking of trying Meth for the first time, but I’m not sure if they’d affect a deep-end meth user. They’d probably just be hungry for more meth, but it’s probably made for those flirting with the idea of using meth.

Have they made Requiem for a Dream mandatory viewing for high school students yet? That’ll get them.
