Will Joseph Gordon-Levitt Agree To Cancer Patient’s Date Proposal?

November 17, 2011 By Mike B

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been asked out on a date, via YouTube, by Lindsay Miller, a fan that was touched by his latest film: 50/50. It’s starting to become a trend to ask celebrities out through YouTube, and if it worked for Cpl. Kelsey De Santis, who scored a date to the Marine Corps Ball with Justin Timberlake, then why not give it a shot?

Lindsay Miller, 26, was diagnosed with pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer and was deeply moved by Gordon-Levitt’s film where he portrays a cancer patient. She didn’t ask for anything extravagant, just a simple coffee date would make her happy.

“Two other people were telling me about this, but no I have not heard about it until then,” Gordon-Levitt told E! News. “I haven’t seen the video. I’ll have to watch it.”

Gordon-Levitt seems like a nice enough guy to agree to her proposal, but we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. In the video, Miller comes off as nice young lady, and I hope everything goes well for her. Time to make my video for Natalie Portman.
