Sin City Finally Getting a Sequel

April 16, 2012 By Mike B

Sin City is finally getting a sequel after seven long years. Too late? Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez will be teaming up once again. Let’s just hope this won’t be like The Spirit because that “movie” was atrocious.

The film will be called Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and Clive Owen will be back to reprise his role as Dwight. Although there have been rumors of Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie being cast as certain characters for the sequel over the past years, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen since both will be busy with other projects.

Out of all the characters they are surely going to bring back, they give us Dwight? I know that *spoiler* Marv and John Hartigan were killed off, but this could’ve been a prequel! Seriously, Dwight? His story wasn’t bad, but he was never the highlight of the first film. Marv and Hartigan were Sin City’s brass balls.

Robert Rodriguez: “I have wanted to re-team with Frank Miller and return to the world he created since the day we wrapped the original, but have felt a duty to the fans to wait until we had something truly exceptional that would meet and exceed what have become epic expectations. ‘A Dame To Kill For’ will certainly be worth the wait.” (First Showing)
