Breaking Dawn Part 1 Birth Scene Causing Seizures

November 26, 2011 By Mike B

Who the heck passes out at a theater (besides drunks)?  Crazy Twilight fans of course! Yes, Twilight fans are passing out and having seizures during Bella’s birth scene.

Brandon Gephart, of Sacramento, had a seizure “convulsing, snorting, and trying to breathe,” as described to a local CBS affiliate by his companion, Kelly Bauman. Brandon isn’t alone, as several other Twi-hard fans are passing out due to the same scene.

Dr. Michael G. Chez, medical director of pediatric neurolgoy and epilepsy, said that Bill Condon’s scene involves multiple flashes of red, black and white colors that could be triggering episodes of photosensitive epilepsy in audience members that may be oblvious that they’re prone to that kind of reaction.

“It’s like a light switch going off, because it hits your brain all at once,” Chez said.

Or it could be that Bill Condon, director of Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2, is trying to kill off some Twi-hards to make up for directing a Twilight movie.
